This course focuses on the operational side of moving goods and people. You will plan and schedule routes, manage a vehicle fleet, monitor fuel and maintenance costs, and coordinate drivers and dispatch, along with the safety and regulatory compliance considerations that apply to commercial transport operations.
Where a broader supply chain course looks at the whole network, this one stays focused specifically on transport operations: the vehicles, routes, drivers and schedules that keep goods and people moving. It suits transport officers, fleet supervisors, dispatchers and logistics assistants.
