About this course

A good strategy is only useful if it gets implemented, and this course covers both halves of that process. You will use environmental scanning frameworks such as SWOT and PESTEL, set a clear vision and mission, and translate strategic priorities into measurable objectives.

The course then turns to implementation and monitoring in practice, including balanced scorecards and simple performance dashboards, along with the common reasons strategic plans fail to be carried out. It is aimed at managers, department heads, board members and anyone involved in setting or implementing organisational strategy.
